The Future Enterprise Support Scheme presents Young Writers’ Network… Calls for registration
The Future Project has announced the Young Writers’ Network, a 5-Day master class starting on 30 May, 2016 in Lagos.
The master class is targeted at young and aspiring writers who want to equip themselves with practical lessons, while engaging with visible role models in charting their own path.
Selected facilitators have been involved in various creative works across the country and in a variety of industries. Some of them include Ayo Sogunro, Chude Jideowno, Tolu Orekoya, Stanley Azuakola, Joachim MacEbong, Wilfred Okiche and more.
Topics to be covered are: Developing your craft as a writer; Mind your grammar; Anatomy of a catchy headline; The writer as a critical thinker; Creative writing: Express yourself; Making the perfect story: How to be the best script writer; Starting an online platform: what it takes to do it; Excelling as a freelance writer in Nigeria; and Monetising your creativity/writing.
